Housing and Urban Development Minister B. Rajkumar conducted an inspection of the Anna bus terminus in Cuddalore on Tuesday, accompanied by Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar. During the visit, the Minister reviewed multiple infrastructure components including entry and exit gates, public toilets, drinking water facilities, bus bays, and the commercial complex. He instructed officials to identify and remove encroachments and clear unused spaces to improve traffic flow for both mofussil and local buses. The Minister also reviewed pay-and-use toilet operations and directed that only government-mandated rates be charged to commuters. Additionally, he ordered the launch and completion of flood-mitigation measures at the terminus before the monsoon season begins.
