Super built-up area figures, though not legally mandated, are frequently used in marketing and can obscure the difference between advertised and actual usable space. UP RERA urged buyers to verify project details on its portal before finalizing purchases and also pushed back against supply shortage narratives, noting that over 1.15 lakh residential and commercial units are currently available for sale across the state.
