Two men, aged 15 and 30, died after being electrocuted by a live wire that fell during heavy rains in Hyderabad's Bandlaguda area on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred when one man stepped on the live wire and the other was electrocuted while attempting a rescue. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

Two residents of Chandrayangutta, identified as 15-year-old Md. Zafar and 30-year-old Md. Afroz, were electrocuted in Bandlaguda, Hyderabad, after heavy rains accompanied by strong winds brought down electric wires from a pole onto the road. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when the two arrived by auto-rickshaw and stepped out near a hotel. Afroz accidentally stepped on the live wire and suffered a severe electric shock; Zafar was electrocuted while attempting to rescue him. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination, and local police have registered a case with further investigation underway.
