The two leaders set an ambitious target of $25 billion in trade this year, with potential expansion to $50 billion and possibly $30 billion in the near future. The discussions covered multiple areas including green economic development, net-zero emissions goals, security cooperation, and defense collaboration. Anutin, who traveled with nine cabinet ministers and armed forces commanders, also addressed concerns raised by Thai businesses operating in Vietnam regarding regulatory changes and contractual payments. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to the Thailand-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and agreed to advance the "Three Connects" strategy through closer ministerial coordination. Additional agreements included cooperation on cybersecurity, tourism development, and symbolic gestures of friendship such as Thailand providing 12 cranes to Vietnam.
