The meeting addressed recent violent incidents including caste-motivated attacks at Nettoor and Seethaparpanallur, with the IG calling for caste enmity to be "crushed without mercy." Officials reviewed conviction rates in criminal and POCSO cases, and discussed the deployment of the newly launched 'Singappenn Special Force'—an all-women unit designed to respond to distress calls from women and children. The IG instructed subordinates to expedite trials against repeat offenders and intensify vehicle checks, noting that over 15% of two-wheelers operate with fake or missing registration plates and are often used for unlawful activities. He ordered that vehicles detained for violations be held for at least a week regardless of fine payment, citing specific cases where vehicle checks could have prevented murders.
