After the hospital's attempts to resolve the matter through negotiation failed, a judge granted an urgent injunction limiting the gym's activities between 6:30am and 8pm to low music and prohibiting the use of weights including medicine balls and kettlebells. When the gym requested modification of the order, claiming losses of nearly $15,000 and reputational damage, the judge refused and instead accelerated the trial to July 13, with plans to personally visit the property to assess the noise impact.
