Peaky Blinders Sequel Series Expands Cast with Game of Thrones Star Conleth Hill and Others

The upcoming Peaky Blinders sequel series has added several new cast members including Game of Thrones star Conleth Hill, who will play patriarch Clemmy Keeler of the rival Keeler family. The new series, set a decade after World War II, will feature Jamie Bell and Charlie Heaton as Duke and Charles Shelby, with original cast members Ned Dennehy and Packy Lee reprising their roles. Two six-episode seasons are in production for BBC and Netflix, though release dates have not been announced.
The Peaky Blinders sequel series has announced a significant expansion of its cast, adding Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones) as Clemmy Keeler, the patriarch of the rival Keeler gangster family, alongside Cal O'Driscoll as his son Aidan Keeler and Lucie Shorthouse as Kezia Lee of the Peaky Blinders gang. Additional cast members include Daniel Monks as Detective Inspector Bell, Samuel Bottomley, Arturo Muselli, and Eugene Collins as fellow gang members. The series will see Jamie Bell take over the role of Duke Shelby from Barry Keoghan, stepping into his father Tommy's shoes a decade after World War II, opposite Charlie Heaton as his half-brother Charles Shelby. Original cast members Ned Dennehy and Packy Lee will reprise their roles as Charlie Strong and Johnny Dogs. The production, created and written by Steven Knight and directed by Mike Barker and Anna Zackrisson, is currently filming in Birmingham and will air on BBC and iPlayer in the U.K. and on Netflix globally, with two six-episode seasons planned.
