During the Kalloori Kanavu camp in Coimbatore, 440 government school students secured admissions across various higher education institutions: 373 to arts and science colleges, 43 to polytechnic institutions, and 24 to ITIs. Over 1,000 students attended the event, which featured 40 stalls from government, government-aided, and private educational institutions. The camp provided comprehensive support including a handbook with course details, admission requirements, and cut-off marks, while banks and educational institutions offered information on scholarships and educational loans. District officials emphasized that the program was designed to address historical gaps in awareness and access to higher education, with around 550 students receiving counselling and 40 submitting scholarship applications.
