Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Sexual Assault of Minor Girl in Tamil Nadu

The assault took place on October 10, 2020, when the perpetrator entered the house where the victim, an orphan staying with relatives, was present. The Tindivanam All Women Police registered the case and arrested Siva. Special Court Judge M. Vinodha imposed an additional fine of ₹10,000 on the accused and ordered compensation of ₹5 lakh to be paid to the survivor.
