Artist L'Rain (Taja Cheek) has unveiled her upcoming album Fata Morgana, scheduled for release on August 14 through Mexican Summer. The album features the lead single "Soulless Cycle," accompanied by a music video directed by Mackai Sharp. Cheek has positioned Fata Morgana as the final installment of a four-album arc that started with her 2017 self-titled debut, continuing through Fatigue and I Killed Your Dog. The new LP was produced in collaboration with longtime creative partners Ben Chapoteau-Katz and Andrew Lappin. The album contains 13 tracks, with titles ranging from "Rumors of Light" to "Church of No One."
