HYDRAA Secures 15 Acres of Government Land at Madhapur Following High Court Ruling

The Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) fenced off 15 acres of government land at Madhapur on Wednesday following a High Court judgment upholding the government's ownership claim. The land had been the subject of a prolonged dispute with private firm Ittina Properties, which began when the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation issued eviction notices in 2016. The resolution ends a decade-long legal battle over the property and allows the government to secure control of the land.
HYDRAA secured 15 acres of government land located in Survey Nos. 41/12, 13, and 14 of Khanamet village in Serilingampally mandal, Rangareddy district, by erecting fences and installing identification boards following High Court directions. The land had been at the center of a prolonged ownership dispute between the government and private firm Ittina Properties, which claimed ownership rights. The dispute originated in 2016 when the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation issued notices to Ittina Properties demanding the firm vacate the land. The company challenged these notices in the High Court, initiating a decade-long legal battle. The High Court recently delivered a judgment upholding the government's claim over the property. Following this ruling and a request from Revenue officials, HYDRAA completed the fencing and marking of the land as government property.
