Cyberabad police arrested two individuals in connection with the murder of 36-year-old Mina Devi, whose body was discovered on the outskirts of Gandigudam village on May 30. The arrested suspects are Anil Kumar Sah, the victim's husband, and Ranjan, a resident of West Champaran district in Bihar. According to police, Anil orchestrated a murder-for-hire plot, paying ₹2 lakh to have his wife killed due to domestic disputes and his belief that she was sending most of his earnings to her parents. The investigation revealed that Anil initially provided a false account, claiming three unidentified assailants had abducted his wife during a robbery attempt. Police formed eight investigative teams that uncovered inconsistencies in his statement and traced the conspiracy to Rinku Kumar, whom Anil knew from Bihar. Rinku recruited Ranjan and another accomplice, Neeraj, and the trio traveled to Hyderabad on May 29 to execute the plan. Two additional suspects, Rinku Kumar and Neeraj, remain absconding, and police efforts to apprehend them are ongoing.
