In season 4, episode 5 of The Legend of Vox Machina, titled "De Rolo's Eleven," Percy (played by Taliesin Jaffe) takes charge of planning and executing a heist on the Cobalt Soul's archives in Rexentruum. According to Jaffe's interview with Polygon, the episode allows Percy to demonstrate his intelligence and leadership capabilities as he directs the rest of Vox Machina through the operation. This represents significant character growth for Percy, who began the series consumed by revenge against Delilah and Sylas Briarwood and was driven by a demonic pact with Orthax. Over the course of the show, Percy has evolved from an aloof loner into a well-adjusted leader, having been resurrected by Vax'ildan and finding love with Vex'ahlia. The heist episode combines Critical Role's comedic sensibilities with the fantasy world of Exandria, though like any good heist story, complications arise during the operation. The first six episodes of season 4 are currently available on Prime Video.

Gordon Wood, a prominent historian who revolutionized the study of the American Revolution and Founding Fathers, has died at age 92, just weeks before the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Wood and his mentor Bernard Bailyn pioneered a scholarly approach that carefully examined primary sources like pamphlets and debates rather than imposing ideological frameworks onto history. His work represents the end of what scholars call a golden age in American Revolutionary historiography that began in the postwar decades.
