Amelia Dimoldenberg Expands Dimz Inc. Academy for Young Creatives in Second Year

Amelia Dimoldenberg is scaling up her Dimz Inc. Academy initiative in its second year, expanding from its inaugural program to offer a more comprehensive four-week free curriculum. The academy targets London-based young adults between 18 and 24 years old and provides practical skills training, industry mentoring, paid work placements, and hands-on experience across all stages of digital media production—from ideation and pitching through production, editing, and showcasing work. The program is developed in partnership with U.K. youth organization Spiral Skills and receives support from Adobe for the first time this year. Upon completion in August, each participant receives a guaranteed work placement, continued mentoring and career support from Spiral Skills, access to an alumni network, and a £300 ($400) bursary. Dimoldenberg created the academy inspired by her own early career, when "Chicken Shop Date" began as a column in a North London youth magazine, with the goal of creating accessible entry points into creative industries for young people who might otherwise lack such opportunities.
