Across performer categories, 1,573 submissions are in contention, down from 1,706 in 2025. Prime Video's "The Boys" and "Saturday Night Live" lead with 28 performer submissions each. Voting concludes June 22, nominations are announced July 8 (with some artisan categories delayed to July 15), and the Creative Arts Emmy Awards and Governors Gala take place September 5-6, followed by the main Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14.
